Emphasise your own unique approach and skills.
As a last resort, it's worth looking for opportunities with other employers. Securing another position puts you in a strong bargaining position with your employer. Switched on employers are aware that they are competing for the same pool of talent and if they don't work hard at keeping staff happy and motivated, they are likely to lose out to the competition.'
