Plant special: Leica takes its products on the road

Measuring and positioning equipment specialist Leica Geosystems has announced the venues for its GeoWorld 9 UK and Ireland roadshow. The event will showcase new products, services and best practice techniques and include demonstrations and seminars.

You can catch up with the roadshow on 22 September at the International Climbing Arena, Edinburgh; 24 September at Old Trafford Football Stadium, Manchester; 25 September at the Belfry Hotel, Nottingham; 29 September at Castleknock Hotel, Dublin; 1 October at Celtic Manor Hotel, Newport; and 2 October at the Emirates Stadium, London.

Topics include a civil engineering project spotlight, “Laser scanning 10 years on: coming of age” and “Monitoring in today’s world”. There will also be demonstrations of global navigation satellite systems and 3D laser scanning. Leica Geosystems is offsetting all energy consumption. Visitors travelling by public transport will receive a £50 off voucher.
