Plant snapped up

Aarsleff Piling has snapped up three driven piling rigs and testing equipment from Westpile for an undisclosed sum.

The Junttan PM20 rigs will complement Aarsleff Piling's fleet of Banut and Hitachi self-erecting fixed leader hydraulic drop hammer rigs. The equipment has been checked, serviced and repainted at the company's base in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Aarsleff said it had been planning to expand its fleet. It has been hiring rigs to cope with increasing workload.
