Piped aboard

Space at the Pipelines 98 exhibition running in parallel with Civils 98 at the National Exhibition Centre from 19-21 May is more than 80% sold out.

The show, which will fill 5,000m2 in Hall 11 adjacent to the 10,000m2 Civils 98 in Hall 12, is for the international onshore and offshore pipelines products and services industries encompassing petrochemical, utilities, water and drainage. It is being run by Emap Construct and the magazines Offshore Engineer and Asian Oil & Gas in association with the Pipeline Industries Guild.

An integral part of Pipelines 98 will be a three day programme of technical seminars presented by stand holders and organised by the Pipeline Industries Guild (contact Steve Cole tel: (0171) 235 7938).

Companies already signed up for Pipelines 98 cover the whole spectrum of the pipeline world. It will range from new installation to repair and maintenance of conduits in a variety of materials to carry fluids that may be highly pressurised, very hot to very cold, and aggressive to inert.
