Pile Dynamics launches eighth PDA

US-based Pile Dynamics has announced the launch of a completely redesigned pile driving analyser (PDA).

Pile Dynamics’ eighth generation of PDA (PDA-8G) uses data obtained by sensors attached to a pile to calculate capacity and more than 230 other types of data in real time. The new model is thinner and lighter than previous versions and features a touch-screen interface.

The PDA-8G is being offered with either four or eight universal channels of data acquisition, with all channels being compatible with cabled and wireless sensors.

The PDA software includes data input help, output customisation, and two real-time capacity calculation methods – Case and Icap, which is based on the industry standard Capwap software.
