Peter Fraenkel & Partners

In the NCE Consultants File 2000 we stated on page 6 under the heading 'Merger and acquisition activity' that White Young Green had acquired Peter Fraenkel & Partners and on page 27 that White Young Green 'bought the Leicester based highways and transportation firm Peter Fraenkel & Partners'. These statements were incorrect. In January 1999 White Young Green bought the business of highway and traffic engineering, excluding the bridge engineering consultancy, carried on in the UK and based in Leicester, operating under the name of Peter Fraenkel Partnership Ltd, a subsidiary of Peter Fraenkel & Partners. Peter Fraenkel & Partners, the consultancy business comprising civil, structural and maritime engineering in the UK and overseas, is wholly owned by the partners and has no connection whatsoever with White Young Green. NCE apologises for the error and confusion caused.
