Around this time of year ICE members receive their membership subscription renewal forms and I wonder how many members have noticed just how much their subscriptions have increased.

Associate Member subscriptions are to increase by 12% in 2001 but Fellow and Member subscriptions will only increase by 5% (taking location B as the average subscription rate).

How can the Institution justify imposing this extra burden on Associate Members?

It would have been fairer to increase all subscriptions by the same percentage.
