Percentage point

It is reported that research by Tarmac indicates that 75% of people across the UK would not consider a career in construction (NCE 11 November). By inference, 25% would so consider. Is this depressing?

Would 25% consider joining the armed services? Or the health service? Or teaching?

Presumably if 25% of people considered a career in construction, and of these one half actually entered the industry, there would be a more than adequate supply.
