Parliament not constructive enough

Letters

Last weekend I stopped in at the Scottish Parliament Building visitor centre. I was treated to a brief history of the conception of the parliament, a slick audio-visual presentation, a 3D virtual tour of the interior and dozens of architectural models.

All very impressive, but I was extremely disappointed that there was no mention at all of the methods used in the design or construction of this massive project. Another golden opportunity to raise the public profile of our profession, and as usual we missed it completely.

Greg Riddle.
