Zany Shooting Stars hosts Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are fronting a new campaign highlighting the dangers to children of playing near railways. Rail Link Engineering's construction team on Channel Tunnel Rail Link contract 430 at Ashford is driving the campaign supported by the British Transport Police. It will take the message directly into local schools and clubs. Vic and Bob were attracted to the project as both live locally and have just spent several months filming in the area. Ashford has been targeted because the CTRL passes through it and overhead electrification of the local rail network is also under way.
