Online knowledge at a discount

RAPID ACCESS to a wealth of vital construction legislation is now available at a much reduced rate to ICE members, thanks to a deal struck by the ICE's new member services committee with The Stationery Office (TSO).

From today, ICE members can claim a 33% discount on subscriptions to TSO's online service Construction Knowledge Bank (CKB).

Subscribers get 24 hour unlimited access to a carefully selected range of constantly updated construction documents.

All documents are selected by construction professionals for construction professionals, ensuring their relevance.

Currently they include the complete Building Regulations for England and Wales along with expert commentary, selected Health & Safety Regulations, and many construction-related acts of parliament or statutory instruments.

The service incorporates an 'Ask the Expert' support service providing guidance on the interpretation of the material in the CKB.

The deal will initially be available for three months (until mid-February 2002) at the specially reduced rate of ú235 a year.

For details on the offer and how to register, visit the members area of the ICE website.
