One week left to enter ICE annual awards

The deadline for entering construction projects into the 2007 ICE West Midlands Annual Awards will expire at the end of the week.
The last day for entry for the awards, which recognise construction projects substantially completed during 2006 that demonstrate excellence in concept, planning, design, construction, maintenance or operation, is Friday, 16 March.This year the ceremony will take place at ThinkTank, Millennium Point, Birmingham, on Thursday 17 May.Last year, the main project award given to the strengthening of Coalport Bridge. Other prizes will be awarded if a project is considered to be environmentally sustainable or helps contribute to the preservation of the region's heritage.Entry packs for the Annual Awards, which include full criteria and rules, can be found at the West Midlands ICE web site here, or e-mail jane.young@ice.org.uk.
