Over 190 exhibitors from all corners of civil engineering will be in London this month for Civils 2005. Geotechnics has played a major part since the show launched seven years ago, and this year is no exception: nearly half of exhibitors are from the sector.

Civils 2005 runs from 22-24 November at the National Hall, Olympia. Over the next 12 pages Ground Engineering focuses on the geotechnical aspects of the event, including the free to attend seminars run in two theatres on the exhibition floor and some of the geotechnical products, services and new technology on show.

New to this year's event is a full conference programme running alongside the show - the Civil Engineering Forum, with three themed days: regeneration, transport and infrastructure and environment.
