On the spot

Cardiff Bay

Name: Eric Westwood

Age: 50

Job:Project manager for Bechtel Cardiff Barrage

Qualifications: Degree at UMIST in Manchester. MICE

Best job: Without doubt involvement on this project. It has challenges people outside the industry would not appreciate. And coming fifth in an international laser sailing regatta in Bahrain against national teams

Worst job: Being responsible at Bechtel for rebuilding a materials ropeway on a multi million per day smelter in Bahrain. There could be no lost production.

Anything else: I would love to have been yachtsman Ben Ainsley. There's a talent.
