On the spot

Cardiff Bay

Name: Paul Graham Neal

Age: 46

Qualification: CEng, MICE

Current job: Contractors project director for the Cardiff Barrage

Best job: Difficult to say but one was getting the Reed & Mallik award for a paper on Sri Lanka's Victoria dam. That is the most interesting scheme I have worked on though Cardiff is a close runner and you would be hard pressed to find one of similar diversity.

Worst job: On this project, I think the most stressful element was float out of the caissons.

Anything else: Also I am a hoarder. As soon as you throw something away you find it is needed.
