National Express Group director Richard Goldson has been appointed to the Office of Rail Regulation as a nonexecutive director. He will take up his post on 2 October.

CMS Vibration Solutions has appointed Matthew Bromley as a director following a number of high-profile contract wins for the anti-vibration and structural isolation specialist.

He joins from Fibet Rubber Bonding, where he was UK operations manager.

Transport Scotland has appointed two non-executive directors to its board. Iain Docherty is a senior lecturer at the School of Business and Management, University of Glasgow. Jacqueline Redmond was Scottish Power's director of corporate strategy and planning until recently taking up a position with Shell's Gas and Power division, based in The Hague.

Amey has appointed Jon Harris as technical director for transport planning for its Owen Williams business stream. He joins from Foxley Tagg Planning where he spent four years, latterly as an associate director.

Steve Goodall has joined AEA Technology Rail as head of sales for its products division.
