Mouchel Parkman has appointed Adrian Dawes, Mark Hurley, Mark Jones and Mark Shaw as divisional directors to its land and environment business. Dawes will lead on environmental planning and specialist consultation, Jones will lead on land remediation, Shaw will head up the firm's geotechnical engineering business and Hurley will head up LandAspects - the company's land information division.
East Sussex County Council has appointed Carolyn Dwyer as assistant director for Transport & Waste. She joins the council from Brighton & Hove City Council, where she has been assistant director for sustainable transport.
Building Design Partnership has appointed Gem Ahmet as a structural engineering director.
Ahmet has experience of major building projects, including the British Museum Great Court and the University of Oxford's Chemistry Research Laboratory.
He joins from Faber Maunsell.
