On the move

Law firm Pinsent Masons has promoted 10 of its rising construction lawyers in the UK to associate. Seven of the lawyers are based in the firm's UK Construction & Engineering arm with three from its International Construction & Energy group. The 10 are:

Michael Batch, Jonathan Cole, Mark Gillespie, Duncan Halliwell, Marcia Jennings, Michael Lyon, Coral Riddell, Ian Stubbs, Joanne Walsh and Gillian Woodward.

Lagan Construction has appointed Vincent Curran as people development manager to support its vision of becoming an industry leader through its people. Curran was previously employed as a senior consultant with Edge Innovative Learning, where he helped companies in Northern Ireland develop export markets and identify openings for graduates interested in international sales.

Pick Everard has appointed three new directors - Andrew Almond, Alastair Hamiliton and David Nisbet. All were previously associates.
