The firm carries out general ground improvement (engineered fi l, capping and sub base replacement), insitu stabilisation of pile mats, pretreatment of soils before off site disposal and stabilisation/solidification of hazardous waste using its mobile plant licence.

Stand P46 Esri UK www. esri. com US firm ESRI develops Geographical Information Systems. These include ArcGIS, an integrated collection of GIS software products for building a complete GIS, enabling companies to deploy GIS functionality wherever it is needed, in desktops, servers (including the Web), or mobile information systems. ArcWeb Services is a method of including GIS content and capabilities in companies' applications without them having to host data or develop the necessary tools themselves.

Stand J14 European Land Solutions www. land-solutions. com Ordnance detection and clearance firm ELS will be showing its range of services, which includes ground survey and inspection, explosive consultancy - involving clearing brownfield sites of ordnance, along with underwater grouting and concreting.

Stand D7 Highways Agency www. highways. gov. uk The Highways Agency is an executive agency of the Department for Transport and is responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England on behalf of the Secretary of State for Transport. The agency has a major role in delivering the Government's 10 year plan for transport. The HA also has an international role, by building good working relationships and sharing experience and expertise with other overseas road administrations.

Stand F33 Howden Insurance www. howdenins. co. uk Howden UK is the largest Lloyd's broker specialising in professional indemnity (PI) for the construction industry, with particular expertise in creating bespoke wordings for those sectors exposed to hazardous risks. The firm recently launched a PI scheme tailored exclusively to the needs of geotechnical and environmental engineers, which unlike any other cover available in the market, includes an amount of negligence cover for bodily injury, property damage and pollution exposures.

Stand H25 Independent Stabilising Company www. independentstabilising. co. uk The Independent Stabilising Company has over 30 years combined experieince in soil stabilisation, solidification and treatment of contaminated land. The firm has two mobile plant licences and is working on a number of projects with the Environment Agency.

Stand L30 Insituform Technologies www. insituform. com Insituform is a trenchless technology company, constructing and rehabilitating sewers, culverts, water mains and other difficult to access pipes using technologies that minimise digging and disruption. Services include hard and soft lining, microtunnelling, pipebursting, pressure lining, surveying and cleaning and grouting.

Stand B9 Institution Of Civil Engineers www. ice. org. uk Using the Civils 2005 themes of network, debate and innovate, the ICE will be highlighting the ways it is adding value to the civil engineering community. Visitors to its stand will be able to find out about the networking opportunities within its new regional structure, learn about its online services and speak to those who are taking civil engineering debate to the government.

Stand E20 Ischebeck Titan www. ischebeck-titan. co. uk Ischebeck Titan will use Civils to launch a new low-maintenance, long life sound barrier fence system for highways, rail, airport and other infrastructure applications. Visitors will also be able to view the company's ground engineering products used in earth retention, slope stabilisation, temporary and permanent works, infrastructure improvement and micropiling projects worldwide.
