The British Construction Industry Awards judging panel chaired by Ian Coull, director of J Sainsbury, has begun an intensive programme of site visits including a trip to the recently refurbished Kingston Bridge on the River Thames.

Site visits involve interviewing the teams at 23 projects included in the 'long list' for the BCI Awards, which will be presented at the London Hilton on 23 October.
