Olympic Park wins top Ceequal awards

The Olympic Park velodrome was among the projects highlighted at the first ever CEEQUAL Outstanding Achievement Awards for sustainable environmental performance last week.

The event was hosted by ICE President Peter Hansford. Eight infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the UK were presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award, with a further three projects picking up a total of nine Highly Commended trophies.
Among the Award winners were the Olympic Park which picked up Outstanding Achievement Awards for project management (for the Park overall), land use (for the north and south areas’ enabling works) and landscape (primary foul sewer and pumping station).
