Water regulator Ofwat has published proposals to amend the licences of Welsh Water and Tendring Hundred Water Services. The move would protect customers from higher bills if fewer customers switch to water meters than was expected when price limits were reset last year. It would allow Ofwat to reset water company's price limits again if they receive higher revenue or incur less cost.
