The ODA has invited bidders to build the Olympic Velodrome. The 6,000-seat venue is one of the 'big four' permanent Olympic venues.
The winning contractor will be announced in August 2008, with construction to begin in early 2009. ODA chief executive David Higgins said it would be a 'worldclass Velodrome fit for the best athletes in the world'.
