Nuclear realism

Just a matter of observation on the answers to questions of the candidates for Council seats.

NCE 9 June 2005: 50 per cent of candidates opted only for the development of wind power, presumably as their recommended cure for the energy production crisis to meet our greenhouse gas obligations. Only 20% opted only for the development of nuclear power NCE 15 June 2006: 94 per cent of candidates say new nuclear should be part of the UK energy mix. Do I detect a hint of realism?
