Now you can cyberpost your CV to net a job

EMAP CONSTRUCT, publisher of New Civil Engineer and its sister magazines Construction News and The Architects' Journal, has launched a new internet- based CV service for job hunters.

Based around the already popular CareersNet site, which already contains the largest and most up to date listing of construction-related job vacancies, the new service lets engineers post their CVs for employers to match against requirements.

Once a job seeker has posted career and personal details onto the website via a series of form guides, pre-registered recruiters will be able to search the database to match potential employees with jobs.

Contact information for the desired CVs can then be accessed at a charge of £49 per CV.

And by only releasing contact details on request, it is also possible for a job-seeker to prevent specific people - their current employer, for example - viewing their CV.

CareersNet can be viewed on the world wide web at http://www.CareersNet.
