Now is the moment for the civil engineering profession's best managers to enter the ICE Civil Engineering Manager of the Year Award.
Now in its sixth year, the award is designed to recognise excellence in project-based management. It also attempts to raise the profile of civil engineers as managers to society at large.
The winner of this prestigious award gets a massive career boost, an ICE medal and a £1,000 cash prize. Runners up will receive certificates and a £250 prize. The achievements of all this year's finalists will be featured in NCE.
The award is backed by the Institute of Management, Laing and NCE. Entries are sought from individuals, although senior members of staff from civil engineering firms and their clients are encouraged to identify their best candidates and persuade them to step forward.
