Responsibility for the collapse of a three storey building four years ago, in which four workers died, was contested in the High Court this week. EP Wickens, which constructed the building, and structural engineer RJ Watkinson and the dead men's employer John Lay & Co (Portsmouth), all deny responsibility for the accident which occurred during refurbishment.
