A Costain, O'Rourke Civil Engineering and Bachy Soletanche joint venture has won the £141M contract to extend London's St Pancras Station for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), awarded by Union Railways (North).

Contract 105 includes the civil and building works to double the length of the existing station to accommodate 13 new platforms, including six for international CTRL services (see CTRL supplement, 28 June).
