Hyder Consulting is to develop traffic and revenue forecasting models for the $1.8bn Mitcham to Frankston Tollway Project in Victoria, Australia.

Spanish power company Hidro Cantabrico has appointed consultant PB Power to design three 400MW combined-cycle gas turbine power plants.

Polish rail company Polskie Linie Kolejowe has commissioned Parson Brinckerhoff to look at the feasibility of upgrading the 350km E65 railway line between Warsaw and Gdynia.

The line is part of TransEuropean Network corridor six. Upgrade work would involve providing greater capacity and running speeds of 160km/h.
