Balfour Beatty has been appointed by Defence Estates as preferred bidder for the £37M prime contract at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island and McMullen in Hampshire. The project involves the phased demolition, refurbishment and reconstruction of 384 bed spaces for officers and ranks.
Hazards facing road workers are to be featured in a television advertisement to run nationwide from mid November on cable and terrestrial channels.
