The £50M 11km stretch of the A30 improvement between Bodmin and Indian Queens in Cornwall will be designed by Scott Wilson and built by Alfred McAlpine in a contract awarded by the Highways Agency last week. Under the scheme the contractor has been appointed before statutory processes to assist with the design in a move aimed at cutting the delivery time.
