Robertson Group's private finance initiative team has won three contracts in the North and Scotland in the last three months. In April it won the £12M Ingleby Barwick schools community campus project in Stockton upon Tees. May saw the winning of the £12M Chester le Street community hospital in Durham, and in June the group picked up the £4M Findlay House continuing care unit in Edinburgh.

South Wales based Rowecord Group has won orders totalling £16M for the project to replace a damaged blast furnace at steelmaker Corus' Port Talbot works. Principal contractor is Austrian owned VAI Industries (UK), but Rowecord Engineering will fabricate and erect 4,000t of structural steelwork, Rowecord subsidiary Andrew Scott will prepare the site and construct the foundations, while Rowecord Total Access will provide all scaffolding.
