Transport for London is preparing to close streets around the centre of London in preparation for an expected one million people converging on them for this weekend's Jubilee celebrations. Traffic management measures on diversion roads will include allowing more green traffic light time for cars. London Underground will close tube stations on the advice of the police if they become too crowded. Crowd management measures will include big screens giving travel information. Three million leaflets giving information on transport arrangements for the weekend have been distributed in London.
