Twenty six people have been killed in a road bridge collapse in India. Ten vehicles fell into the Daman Ganga River when a 90m section of the 300m long bridge collapsed during heavy rainfall last week. The Portuguese built bridge is the only link between the Nani Daman and Moti Daman localities, about 400km from Ahmedbad. Repair work was carried out on the narrow oneway bridge two years ago.
