lFaberMaunsell has been appointed by the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Assembly, regional development agency Yorkshire Forward and the Highways Agency to deliver a strategy for getting lorries in and out of towns and villages in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Cambridgeshire transport chiefs have backed plans for council officers to apply for powers under the Transport Works Act to build a guided bus system between Huntingdon and Cambridge. The bus will run along the old St Ives to Cambridge rail track. The government has awarded £65M to the scheme and a public inquiry is expected to open in September.
