Contractors on London's Olympic Park are recycling 95% of demolition waste, it was revealed this week.

Beating the 90% target set by the Olympic Delivery Authority earlier, 9,741t of crushed brick and concrete have been reused onsite, while 176t of timber has been turned into chipboard offsite and 326t of metal sold as scrap.
