Anchor manufacturer Stainless UK has launched a new range of Grip-Bar injection anchors. Available in carbon or stainless steel, the anchors have sacrificial bits and are drilled and grouted simultaneously, removing the need for casing. The firm says the anchors are particularly suited to manual drilling using rope access crews as well as low headroom and restricted access applications, including railway embankment stabilisation and bridge repair work. Standard lengths are 1.5m or 3m, although they can be supplied in lengths up to 5m.
