Senior directors at UK's Scott Wilson have begun marketing the company to investors before the company floats on the Stock Market in March. In as many as six presentations a day they explained to institutional investors that the flotation will give the consultancy a balance sheet to equal the strongest in the sector. It is hoped that the initial public offering of 60% of the business will raise £70M ($119M).
The business is valued by brokers at £110M ($187).
The flotation share price is expected to be announced on 7 March, with dealing beginning on 15 March.
Consultant Halcrow has acquired Canadian based transport consultant Transys International. Halcrow and TSI have been partners in North America for several years where they were traffic and revenue advisors on public private partnership contracts.
