News: Wylie Cunningham

ICE Executive Secretary for Scotland is to be 54 year old Wylie Cunningham. He will be responsible for running the ICE's operations in Scotland and representing its interests with the new Scottish Parliament.

Cunningham took up his appointment on 28 February and is based at the ICE's new offices at 105 West George Street, Glasgow.

'I am delighted to be joining the ICE as it enters an exciting new era in Scotland, ' Cunningham said. 'My first task will be to build on the strong membership base in Scotland.

'As Executive Secretary I will be able to offer support to the associations' committees. Together we can develop a full dialogue with Members of the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive.

ICE chief secretary Mike Casebourne said: 'We are very fortunate to have secured the services of a top rate communicator who is well known in Scotland for his lobbying and presentational skills.

Under him, the ICE in Scotland will become a voice that will be heard loud and clear to the advantage of our members and the industry at large.'
