News: Train services

Train services in and out of Euston station were severely disrupted last week when the overhead lines at Willesden junction came down. Debris covered three of the four lines, causing disruption on Wednesday from early morning to late afternoon. Services were halted at Watford and passengers were shuttled into Euston buy bus. The wiring train working on the West Coast Main Line upgrade at Rugby was brought into carry out the repairs. An investigation is under way to discover the cause of the problem.
