Drought is driving Parsons Brinckerhoff to speed up completion of Ethiopia's $42M Tis Abay hydroelectric project. Lack of rain has failed to fill existing dams in a country where consecutive droughts have led to famine. The project, near Lake Tana in the north west of the country, will meet Ethiopia's 12% annual growth in electricity demand.
