News: National Roads Authority

Prequalification for two of the first tranches of privately financed roads in Ireland will be invited shortly. All 11 roads will be tolled, with 30 year contracts expected to be awarded by the country's National Roads Authority. The £750M schemes are the first of the Irish government's public private partnership initiatives.

Construction is expected between 2002 and 2006.
