NEWS IN BRIEF: David Lloyd

'Water is the only necessity in life which makes terrorists see sense when the chips are down, ' says former Halcrow chairman David Lloyd in his presidential address 'Use it, abuse it, fight for it, ' to the British Section of the French National Council of Engineers and Scientists this Tuesday at the ICE. Lloyd will take a lighthearted look at the history of water supply, before venturing his answers to the serious water challenges for the world over the next 50 years. The CNISF (British Section) AGM starts at 6pm.
