News: Dunlop GRG

A new inflatable speed hump developed by Dunlop GRG and consultant Pell Frischmann is being tested in London. The rubber hump deflates when vehicles pass over it at an allowable speed, preventing injury to passengers and damage to vehicles. The hump can also deflate when trafficked by emergency vehicles. Department of the Environment Transport and the Regions statistics show that minor reductions in speed decrease both the severity and number of accidents.
