News: Balfour Beatty Rail Power Systems

Balfour Beatty Rail Power Systems has been awarded a £175M contract for the electrification of the Rawang to Ipoh mainline project in Malaysia, in a joint venture with Siemens and Adtranz. The project involves upgrading the existing line, converting single track to double track, complete electrification of the system and new signalling on the 180km route.
