News: Austrian Federal Railways

Engineers from the Austrian Federal Railways will this month start to dismantle the train in which 156 died in a tunnel at the ski resort of Kaprun. The burnt out carriage will then be compared to the intact one that was at the top of the tunnel.

Engineers will also examine the track. It is anticipated the investigation could take up to a year.
