New Walton on Thames bridge prepares for concrete pour

The £32M road bridge between Walton on Thames and Shepperton in Surrey is ready for concrete pouring.

The bridge was designed by consultant Atkins and is being built by contractor Costain. It will replace two long serving temporary bridges next to it.

The temporary bridges will be closed when the new bridge opens in summer 2013.
