Sennebogen Group announced in January it will be setting up a new assembly plant at Straubing in south east Germany. The company, which makes lifting machinery used in pile driver setups as well as loading plant, said the new site will start off at more than 100,000m 2 with the option for further expansion. It will provide open air space for the assembly and testing of machines weighing up to 220t and with boom extensions up to 125m. Building is due to start this spring with production scheduled to begin in early 2008.
