Network Rail recruits new national centre staff

Network Rail yesterday began a year-long recruitment drive to fill hundreds of new positions at the company’s new national centre in Milton Keynes, which is due to open next summer.

The new centre will be a base for 3,000 employees, many of whom will be existing employees moving from Network Rail offices around the country.

Network Rail said it would be will be offering roles at all levels, including engineering. Teams will start moving into the national centre in phases from June 2012, with the moves complete by September 2012.
