Network Rail appoints Crossrail director

Network Rail has appointed Rob McIntosh as its director for Crossrail, the firm announced today.

McIntosh was previously the firm’s project director for European train control systems and traffic management.

“Rob McIntosh has extensive project management experience in the delivery of railway system projects including train control, infrastructure and stations,” Said Network Rail regional director for western England and Wales Robbie Burns. “Rob will have a key role to play in overseeing the multi-billion upgrade of the existing rail network for Crossrail.”
